{"id":514,"date":"2015-09-26T16:48:49","date_gmt":"2015-09-26T06:48:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.markroberts.id.au\/Wordpress\/?p=514"},"modified":"2015-09-26T17:30:53","modified_gmt":"2015-09-26T07:30:53","slug":"when-river-was-roadway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.markroberts.id.au\/Wordpress\/index.php\/when-river-was-roadway\/","title":{"rendered":"When River Was Roadway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In 2011 I collaborated again with Meg Gordon and the Centenary Suburbs Historical Society (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cshsoc.org.au\">www.cshsoc.org.au<\/a>) by drawing the maps for their impressive publication &#8220;When River Was Roadway&#8221;, subtitled &#8220;Pioneer Farmers of Brisbane&#8217;s Seventeen Mile Rocks District&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>It is a monochrome publication, and I went with a not so subtle &#8220;old world&#8221; feel to the typography where it referred to older features and a more modern look for modern features.
